John is an experienced policy analyst with knowledge, skills, and experience in the areas of science, technology, and innovation (STI) policy, management strategy, and university-industry engagement.

John is the founder of Howard Partners, a boutique Australian public policy research firm. For 25 years, the firm has been active in providing policy research, analysis and advice for government, business, and the higher education sector.  

​

John’s professional knowledge and experience in public policy, economics, public finance, and management strategy provide a unique combination of capabilities that have been successfully applied and adopted in numerous commissions and assignments for government, businesses, universities, and NGOs.
